Content Description

A stray volume probably from a four-volume set. The text begins, 'Incipit secu[n]dus liber se[n]tentiar[um] ad inte[n]tione[m] doc. subtilis Scoti.'

Written by two or three different scribes who shared the work in gatherings, with catchwords at the end of each gathering and with several blank leaves at the end of some of the gatherings. Some of the blank leaves bear drawings and scribbles in a later hand.

With a table of the 'Distinctions' at the end.

Dates: 1568

Scope and Contents A manuscript probably written in eastern France in ca. 1490. It is possibly linked to, or copied from, a contemporary printed edition of Gorris's work. Begins with an address by the author to Alfonso of Aragon, archbishop of Saragossa, folio 1r: "Reuerendissimo in Christo patri et illustrissimo domino domino Alfonso de Aragonia archiepiscopo cesaragustam[?] dignissimo, subditus Gulliermus Gorris post deuotissima [...] humilime se commendat."
